Police believe they have caught two teens responsible for a recent crime spree in small Waikato town, Otaua

Police believe they have caught two teens responsible for a recent crime spree in small Waikato town, Otaua

Counties Manukau South Police say they've recorded 12 burglaries and an arson since October.

Senior Sergeant Melody Brown says most was targeted at Otaua School - where a fire extensively damaged a shed.

They are also investigating burglaries at the community hall, bowling club, and five residential properties nearby.

Police allege two 15-year-olds are to blame - and will be held to account through the Youth Aid process.
