Auckland FC coach Steve Corica will decide on Friday whether to bring Nando Pijnaker back early for Saturday's A-League visit to Western United

The centre back was set to miss three to four weeks with an injured ankle - but is already training alone, and will travel with the side to Melbourne.

Fellow defender Dan Hall is still recovering from breaking his ankle.

Corica says they've opted against signing another centre back.
