Dunedin's Three Mile Hill Road is closing for five days to repair an accident-prone section

Dunedin's Three Mile Hill Road is closing for five days to repair an accident-prone section

Dunedin City Councillor, Cherry Lucas, is leading the push for a road safety solution on the lower part of the road, after an extremely smooth seal was laid and has since caused numerous accidents and near-misses.

She says contractors have investigated the best solution and are proceeding with an alternative option.

The road between Dalziel and Silverstream Valley Roads is closed until Friday from 9am to 5pm for the maintenance work.
