Two teenagers were allegedly robbed at knifepoint for an e-bike on Auckland's North Shore on Saturday afternoon

Police say the pair was riding along Lake Road about 2.30pm when they were confronted by two people who pulled up next to them in a vehicle.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Williams says a man then allegedly demanded the bike while wielding a knife.

He says he then allegedly pushed one of the victims off the bike, before assaulting him and riding off.

Two people were arrested at an Otara property yesterday.

A 28-year-old man's due in court today on several charges, including aggravated robbery.

While a 31-year-old woman's due in court tomorrow on charges including resisting and assaulting Police.
