Kiwi free skiier Ben Harrington has come agonisingly close to making his first major competition final

Harrington has has finished 11th at the Dew Tour in men's halfpipe qualifying in Colorado, one spot outside the qualifiers for the final.

While disappointed not to make the final Harrington's thrilled to be able to mix it with the best.



World champion Nico Porteous has qualified third for Sunday's final.
