    Rookie golfer Sam Jones has not only made the cut at the latest European Tour event in Nairobi... Jones heads into the third round just three shots off the pace at the Kenya Open


    Jones followed up his opening-round three-under-par 68 with a one-under 70 to be seven under overall.

    Not such a great couple of days on the PGA Tour for fellow Kiwi Ryan Fox.

    He's missed the cut at the Mexico Open by three shots.

    Fox started the second day even par but fired a two over par 73 - the projected cut line is one under.
