A rare feat for New Zealand golf when the 152nd Open Championship tees off tonight

A rare feat for New Zealand golf when the 152nd Open Championship tees off tonight

For the first time since 2009, four Kiwis will compete at The Open, with Ryan Fox, Daniel Hillier and Kazuma Kobori flying the country's flag alongside Michael Hendry, who couldn't play at the Open last year after being diagnosed with leukeamia.

Fox says it's significant have a raft of Kiwis on show.

Fox tees off at 11.20 tonight.

Hendry begins the Kiwi charge at 5:57 this evening, with Hillier teeing off 14 minutes later.

Kobori gets underway at 3:05am overnight.
