    Ash Barty's remarkable winning run on red clay has finally come to an an end


    She's lost 6-love, 6-3, 6-4 to Aryna Sabalenka in a thrilling Madrid Open final.

    Alexander Zverev has followed up his best-ever clay court victory over Rafael Nadal by defeating Dominic Thiem 6-3, 6-4 to reach the decider of the men's tournament.

    He'll face Italian eighth seed Mateeo Berrettini for the title.
