Alexander Zverev has advanced to the semi-finals of the French Tennis Open after defeating Alex de Minaur in straight sets

Alexander Zverev has advanced to the semi-finals of the French Tennis Open after defeating Alex de Minaur in straight sets

He showed minimal signs of weariness after two prior five-setters, nor any distraction from outside events with the trial for the alleged assault of an ex-partner going on concurrently in Germany.

The match hinged on the second set tiebreak when de Minaur went up 4-love but lost seven of the next eight points.

    Zverev explains his approach.

De Minaur laments an inability to capitalise.

Carlos Alcaraz meets Jannik Sinner in the other men's semi-final.

The women's last four are also confirmed - Jasmine Paolini will duel with Mirra Andreeva and Iga Swiatek is drawn against Coco Gauff.
