There'll be an American in the US tennis Open women's singles final, after Jessica Pegula rallied to beat Czech Karolina Muchova in three sets

Pegula, who stunned the world number one in the quarter-finals, will play Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka in the final.

The National Football League season-opener has gone the way of the champions, with the Kansas City Chiefs beating the visiting Baltimore Ravens 27-20.

But it was a close-run thing, with a last-second touchdown to the Ravens ruled out for a foot on the line.

High hopes from the All Blacks camp that Chiefs loosie Wallace Sititi can shine in his first test start on Sunday morning, against the Springboks.

And the Chiefs Manawa Super Rugby Aupiki side have a new coach, with assistant Dwayne Sweeney promoted to replace Crystal Kaua .
