    ASB tennis Classic tournament director Nicolas Lamperin has identified the top Kiwi prospects for clinching the New Zealand wildcard spot in the men's draw


    A youthful lineup's been confirmed, with eight of the top 13 ranked players aged 23 or younger.

    World number 27 Sebastian Baez is the third seed behind 22-year-old American Ben Shelton and defending champion Alejandro Tabilo .

    Lamperin says the Kiwi wildcard playoff will be in Te Anau, with KP Pannu and Ajeet Rai the frontrunners.



    The ASB Classic starts on Dec 30 with the women's event - the men start on January 6.
