    A violent family dispute in South Auckland's Moncrieff Avenue, has left one person hospitalised and another facing serious charges


    Police responding to the early morning incident at 2:40 AM found one person in critical condition.

    The situation escalated when a 23-year-old man at the scene became aggressive, attacking officers who were attempting to intervene.

    While the officers escaped injury, they arrested the man who will face multiple charges, including wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

    The hospitalised victim is now in stable condition. The accused will appear in Manukau District Court tomorrow.
