    Police are examining the scene of a shooting in a south Auckland bar overnight


    Officers were called to Republic Bar, in Manukau, about 1.40 this morning.

    A 31-year-old man was taken to Middlemore Hospital in a critical condition after shots were fired..

    Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with Counties Manukau Police.
