    Two people have been injured after a car drove off an Auckland motorway and into a house


    At around 9 o'clock this morning, police were called about a car leaving the Southern Motorway, rolling down a bank, and smashing into a home on Clayton Ave in Otara.

    Two people were taken to Middlemore Hospital - one with serious injuries and one with moderate.

    The building is undamaged following the crash, but the car crushed a trampoline and a washing line.

    The incident's closed the East Tamaki on-ramp.
