In a ploy to ease the lines at West Auckland Liquor stores, spirits and RTDs will no longer be sold there

In a ploy to ease the lines at West Auckland Liquor stores, spirits and RTDs will no longer be sold there

The Trusts liquor chain stores were allowed to sell spirits, due to a licensing difference in that part of Auckland.

But CEO Matt Williams says it became apparent that people were travelling well outside their bubbles, from all over Auckland to buy it - forming massive queues around the stores.

He says compared to supermarkets, they don't have large carparks for people to queue in and making the queues at the Trusts stores more visible.
