A fire investigator will be attending the scene of a massive fire at a flower nursery in Auckland

Fire and Emergency were called to the blaze in Kumeu just before 10 last night.

It's now been contained to less than one third of the building and crews are continuing to monitor for any hotspots.

At least 16 fire appliances were on site at the peak of the fire.

A crew from Hamilton was called to respond but was then turned back.

    There were no reported injuries.
