Police are considering charges for five young people arrested, following a 48 hour crime spree in Christchurch

Police are considering charges for five young people arrested, following a 48 hour crime spree in Christchurch

A private helicopter was contracted to help track the group, driving a stolen car, through the city yesterday.

The youths were stopped after abandoning one of several stolen cars in the CBD, and attempting to flee on foot.

It's believed the group is responsible for a number of incidents spanning the city on Tuesday night, including a burglary, vehicle theft and dog napping.
