    Armed police are attending a house fire in Christchurch's Sockburn that broke out just after 3pm


    Cordons are in place while multiple fire engines, police cars, ambulance and a rapid response vehicle are at the scene on Epsom Road.

    A large crowd of onlookers, including many children, have gathered.

    Police say there are no reports of injuries.
