Canterbury Police are cracking down on cannabis supply and money laundering

Canterbury Police are cracking down on cannabis supply and money laundering

They've seized about 200 cannabis plants and a military style semi-automatic rifle, as well as commercial properties, vehicles, jetskis, a caravan, cash, and millions of dollars in bank accounts.

A 48-year-old man will appear in the Christchurch District Court this afternoon, charged with importing a class A controlled drug, and cultivating and selling cannabis.

Four other people will appear on similar charges in the Christchurch District Court next Tuesday.
