    Police are investigating a sudden death in Christchurch's Heathcote Valley yesterday, but believe it isn't suspicious


    They're looking to identify the man, who's thought to be in his 30s or 40s, and has a distinctive birthmark on his left forearm.

    He was found on Horotane Valley Road, AND WAS wearing black clothing and tramping boots.
