New details have emerged about the brutal dog attack in Christchurch's Bryndwr , which left three people injured

A teenage boy was mauled without warning by two American Bulldog crosses at a Bevin Place property on Saturday.
His father was bitten on the neck and is in a critical condition, while the teen's seriously injured.
Our newsroom understands they were visiting a friend when the dogs attacked.
Christchurch City Council says the animals have been impounded and there were no prior complaints.
Police have summonsed a 40-year-old woman under the Dog Control Act.
