    Alliance Group is launching an inquiry after an employee was dragged under a train in North Otago


    Emergency services were called to the Pukeuri meat processing plant on the outskirts of Oamaru yesterday afternoon.

    A spokesman for Alliance Group says they will be supporting the employee's family and speaking with Work Safe New Zealand.

    The man is recovering in Dunedin Hospital.
