    A speeding driver in a blue Audi is on police radar after a chase was abandoned in central Dunedin


    Police attempted to stop the car on the Dunedin Northern Motorway at about 11am yesterday.

    A spokeswoman says an ensuing pursuit was abandoned near the Dunedin Hospital .

    She says they're now following inquiries to locate the driver and the Audi A4 Quatro sedan which may have been damaged during the pursuit.
