An 18-year-old man is due in the Dunedin District Court today - in relation to a bomb threat aimed at a Wellington mosque

He's facing a charge of causing harm by posting digital communication.

Detective Sergeant Dean Pearce says enquiries are continuing, and they're not ruling out further charges.

The Kilbirnie mosque suspended all activities while the threat was investigated.
