One of last remaining Dunedin student bars has alcohol licence challenged by neighbour

The Otago University Student Association bought the Starters Bar in Clyde Street last year as a way to provide a safe and controlled space for students to drink.

But a woman who runs two flats bordering the bar says her tenants have found broken glass, vomit and urine outside their flats.

A district licensing committee hearing on the matter will be held next week.
