    A man has been assaulted by two others in an unprovoked attack in Dunedin


    Police say they were called to the corner of Princes and Dowling Streets in the city just before 3 this morning .

    They say two men, who were not known to the victim, were seen running down the street towards Queens Gardens after attacking him.

    Police are still looking for them.

    The man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
