    A science educator has been unmasked as a sexual predator while working in Dunedin


    The Otago Daily Times reports 45-year-old Amadeo Enriquez-Ballestero has been sent to jail for two-and-a-half-years, for filming himself abusing a boy.

    A former pupil says many children he taught in Dunedin idolised him - and the news is a shock.

    He was teaching at Christchurch's Papanui High School - until charges were laid.

    It's told parents the case is unrelated to Papanui - but it couldn't give information previously because of court suppression orders.
