An 11-year-old's among those arrested after a group of youths allegedly took a stolen car for a joyride the wrong way down a Dunedin motorway

An 11-year-old's among those arrested after a group of youths allegedly took a stolen car for a joyride the wrong way down a Dunedin motorway

The oldest in the group was 16.

Police allege the group stole two vehicles last night and fuelled them up before driving off without paying in two separate incidents.

The two drive-offs happened at the same Andersons Bay petrol station.

Police later spotted one of the vehicles driving the wrong way on the Southern Motorway - four occupants - including the 15-year-old driver - were arrested.
