A famous Goldie painting is still missing -- despite arrests and court appearances

A famous Goldie painting is still missing -- despite arrests and court appearances

The painting, 'Sleep 'tis a Gentle Thing', was taken in a burglary from the Hamilton East area, over New Year.

Three men appeared in the Hamilton District Court yesterday in relation to the stolen art.

Art dealer Dunbar Sloane says it's likely someone is holding onto it as a sort of prize.

He says you can't resell it or publicly display it, so it becomes a trophy piece.
