Two people are still in hospital with serious injuries following an assault in Hamilton, that plunged a school into lockdown

Police received a call for help yesterday afternoon, from an ambulance on Hukanui Road in Chartwell.

One of the injured parties was arrested.

St Paul's Collegiate School's Headmaster Ben Skeen says the incident occurred at the front of the school property.

He says all students and staff are safe.
