Three people have been charged over an assault that left a young man fighting for his life in Hamilton

Police say the man was attacked at a residential address in Fairview Downs on Northolt Road by several people on Monday.

They say he's undergoing surgery today and remains in a serious condition.

Two 20-year-old men and an 18-year-old female face charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and aggravated burglary.
