The husband of a Wellington woman killed in her Karori home is calling her murderer "evil"

The husband of a Wellington woman killed in her Karori home is calling her murderer "evil"

31-year-old Joseph Borton has been given an indefinite detention sentence - for the murder and subsequent sexual assault of her daughter.

The sentence includes a non-parole period of 19 years.

Detective Constable Hayley Adams has read out a statement by the woman's husband, in which he says what happened to his daughter was a horrendous crime - but the murder of his wife is numbingly awful.
