The Wellington Phoenix women have benefited off the boots of two teenagers to claim a 2-nil A-League win away at Canberra United

19-year-old substitute Zoe Benson broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 86th minute before Pia Vlok, who's just 17, chipped the goal keeper from well outside the box in the 96th.

Manager Bev Priestman is stoked to see the team's youth succeeding.

The Phoenix sit seventh on 15 points, three adrift of second-placed Canberra with a game in hand.
