Cook Island businesses are ready and waiting for tourists to be back on their shores

Cook Island businesses are ready and waiting for tourists to be back on their shores

Quarantine-free travel with New Zealand begins on Monday - the first visitors the island nation will have had in more than a year.

Koko Lagoon Cruise manager Serena Hunter says tourism is the bread and butter of the Cook Islands.

She says it employs a large number of people across a range of different organisations.
