Influencer wife of ex-AFL player arrested in Bali raids targeting illegal prostitution

Essendon premiership player Ricky Olarenshaw's estranged wife Sarnanitha was arrested following a raid at the Flame Spa in Seminyak in early September.

The influencer wife of a former AFL player and media identity is among 12 people arrested after police raids last month on two separate Bali massage parlours suspected of illegal prostitution.

The raids also resulted in the arrest of Australian couple Michael and Lynley Le Grand, it was revealed yesterday.

Essendon premiership player Ricky Olarenshaw's estranged wife Sarnanitha was arrested following a raid at the Flame Spa in Seminyak in early September.

Indonesian police say the raid uncovered a therapist in a "completely naked condition", while further investigations revealed therapists offering a range of sexual services.

The website for Flame Spa says: "Our service is more than just a sensual massage; it is an erotic experience," while the business's Facebook page promises "60 minutes of body-to-body massage, culminating in an eruptive massage technique that'll leave you feeling 100%."

Prostitution is illegal in Indonesia and can carry jail sentences of up to 12 years. Flame Spa's website adds "we strictly prohibit sexual intercourse".

Sarnanitha — a local celebrity and social media influencer — earlier denied owning the spa, with her lawyer telling a local media outlet in Bali it was in fact owned by her husband Ricky Olarenshaw and three of his friends.

Olarenshaw last year celebrated his 50th birthday at a Playboy-themed party held at the spa involved in the raid.

The ABC is not suggesting Olarenshaw was aware of the alleged illegal activity or was a co-owner of the spa, and has tried to contact him for comment.
