Relief from the Ukraine as it's set to receive a 183 billion New Zealand dollar loan from the European Union to help fund its defence in the war with Russia

Relief from the Ukraine as it's set to receive a 183 billion New Zealand dollar loan from the European Union to help fund its defence in the war with Russia

The loan's a funding plan for Ukraine's economy and military for the next two years.

At the same time the U.S says efforts to try negotiate a ceasefire are continuing.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says there's still a lot of work ahead for any peace deal.

He says it takes time and hard work, with the last issues being the toughest.
