The first show of awards season is fast approaching. Here's all you need to now about this year's Golden Globes.

Awards season is about to kick off!

The next few months are packed with ceremonies and the first cab off the rank is the Golden Globes, airing today.

The 82nd Golden Globes will celebrate and possibly snub the best of the best shows and films to hit big and small screens over the last 12 months.

Here's how you can watch and what you need to know.

When are the 2025 Golden Globes?

The Golden Globes will take place today.

If you're in Australia, that is the morning of January 6.

The show is expected to last around 3 hours.

Where can I watch the Golden Globes in Australia?

Channel 10 will be airing the Golden Globes.

It is also available for streaming on Paramount+.

ABC News will be live-blogging the ceremony on the website and ABC News app.

Who is hosting the Golden Globes?

Comedian Nikki Glaser will host the 82nd Golden Globes.

Glaser will make history as the first ever woman to solo host the show.

Others, like Sandra Oh, Amy Pohler and Tina Fey did it in tandem.

Glaser is best known for her stand-up specials about her personal experiences, and for stealing the show at Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady” earlier this year.
