    Two people have been taken to hospital after a car hit a pole in Christchurch


    The power pole is broken and lines are down at Cavendish Drive, in Casebrook.

    The crash happened shortly after midday and police remain at the scene.

    One person has serious injuries and the other is in a moderate condition.
