    A man's been arrested after a woman was stabbed in the Christchurch suburb of St Martins yesterday


    Police were called to Gamblins Road yesterday morning to reports of a disorder incident.

    Detective Senior Sergeant, Nicola Reeves, says a 22-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

    He's due to appear in the Christchurch District Court this afternoon.

    The woman remains in a serious but stable condition.
