    Works are beginning soon to make a temporary Porirua roundabout permanent - after its efficacy in reducing crashes has been revealed


    Since the temporary roundabout at Kenepuru Drive and Raiha Street was installed in 2020, the number of crashes has fallen dramatically.

    The Porirua City Council says there were 19 crashes between 2015 and 2020, and since the roundabout was installed - there have been four crashes, all with no injuries.
