    A person has died and three more seriously injured in a crash State Highway 3 on Main North Road in Urenui near New Plymouth


    The three vehicle crash happened just before 11 am.

    Four people were taken to Taranaki Base hospital, but one died in hospital.

    The road was closed, but has since been reopened.
