    Another problem for Aratere

    Another problem for Aratere

    InterIslander
    InterIslander
The Interislander ferry's expected to be out of action for a few days after crashing in to the dock in Wellington

More than 100 passengers and 40 crew were on board - none was injured.

A KiwiRail spokesperson says the incident happened in strong winds.

Interislander says repair work was carried out on Aratere overnight - and it expects services to return over the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Interislander's Kaitaki is on its way to Singapore for dry dock -- meaning only the Kaiarahi is operational.
