    Hastings police are seeking witnesses to a potential assault in Flaxmere overnight


    Witnesses found a man with significant facial injuries lying in Diaz Drive just after midnight.

    He's now in hospital in a serious condition.

    Police say his injuries are unexplained - and they want to establish how he got there.
