Timaru has seen two tragedies involving children in the past two months

Last night, three-year-old twin girls and their seven year old sister were killed at a Queen Street address.,

It follows the death of five teenagers early last month ... killed when the overloaded sedan they were in crashed in Washdyke, north of Timaru.

Mayor Nigel Bowen says it's key people reach out and lend an ear.

He says some people will be able to ride through this, while some people will be taking on an overload of stress.
