The Labour leader says stopping immigration is not the answer to solving the housing crisis

The Labour leader says stopping immigration is not the answer to solving the housing crisis

That's what the Maori Party wants to do - until housing supply meets demand.

It also wants half of all new social housing places allocated for Maori, and two thousand homes built on ancestral land over the next two years.

Jacinda Ardern says New Zealand has refugee resettlement obligations - and many skilled workers who contribute to our economy.
