Documents released by Te Pati Maori accuse former party vice president Eru Kapa-Kingi of making "threats of physical violence"

Documents released by Te Pati Maori accuse former party vice president Eru Kapa-Kingi of making "threats of physical violence"

The documents were emailed to Party members about 10 last night - and also claim he made "inappropriate and vulgar" remarks to Parliamentary staffers.

Kapa-Kingi is a high profile activist and the son of MP Mariameno Kapa-Kingi - and he recently accused the Party of having a dictatorial leadership style.

Kapa-Kingi hasn't responded to requests to comment, but posted to social media this morning he'll put out a statement in response soon.
