    A special search warrant - has allowed the arrest and charging of gang members in Wairoa


    Eastern District Police obtained a Gang Conflict Warrant - giving special search powers - after a Gray Street house was allegedly shot at and cars set on fire last week

    Police stopped and searched 15 vehicles - arresting five gang members.

    Charges ranged from possession of offensive weapons and meth, to breach of bail.

    Investigations continue into reports shots were fired at a house on Glasgow Crescent last week.
