    Whangarei Police doing roadside breath tests - have saved three people from an alleged gang kidnapping


    On Saturday evening a person jumped out of a car as officers carried out tests, making concerning claims.

    Police arrested the driver, a 31-year-old Crips member - and the passenger led police to a Eureka Place house.

    Two people were allegedly being held against their will inside.

    Officers spiked the road, and arrested a 22 year old Nomad gang member when he attempted to leave the property in a vehicle.
