A car, trailer and small donated items were allegedly stolen from the sale's storage area at Ngongotaha Railway Park over the weekend.
Police have been able to locate the trailer, but its signage had been torn off and the car is still missing.
Ray White Rotorua co-owner Tim O'Sullivan says it's not a decision he'll make on his own.
He says they've had a lot of support from the public, who don't want the sale to stop.
Police say a 27-year-old man has been charged with the burglary, and is due in court tomorrow.
