    Gisborne police are still hunting a person seen fleeing Riverdale - where a man was found critically injured on his lawn early yesterday, before dying in hospital


    The 36-year-old was found at the Ormond Road property soon after 4am.

    Police are searching a person seen near Lytton Road and Riperata Street.

    Detective Inspector Martin James says the public's offered a steady flow of information.

    He says the 30-strong team includes investigators from outside Tairawhiti.
